NEW Lighting to USB-C cable is another GREAT cable from Anker!

I recently received my tester of the 3’ white USB-C to Lightning cable by Anker of course and have nothing but good to say about it. I can’t say there will even be a cons section as there isn’t one. I have a couple work friends I’ve also turned into soon to be very loyal, but already Anker product users and had the good fortune of using their wall chargers with USB-C output ports as well as my own newer MacBook to charge with it as the same, my daily phone charging done with it as well my iPhone XR no difference of experience there charged just the same as everything else I’ve had including also a car charger from Anker that accepts the USB-C male plug cable I’ve been field testing. I work in the beautiful city of Pittsburgh on Pennsylvania for the city’s public safety department for the EMS bureau as a full time career paramedic. So needless to say I seek out product that will take some serious beating when I comes to electronic accessories. Hence why since I discovered Anker quite a few years back now, have continued to exclusively use their cables, battery pack type portable chargers as well as their various wall plugs and USB hub/wall chargers and last but not least car chargers. As well as owning many Soundcore speakers and sets of Anker and Soundcore headphones and ear buds. I personally can’t say enough good about any product I’ve used and/or owned bought full price out of my own pocket, with a discount or coupons on Amazon as well as now receiving product to test such as this USB-C to Lightning cable which is no different but in that of yet another exceptional product from Anker. I thank Anker in choosing me to test their cable and to then keep it to use as my own. And to anyone that’s on the fence about buying one, or switching to USB-C products to charge with or be charged don’t hesitate it’s faster and less chance of damaging the port as it’s small and better protected than mini USB and USB-A even so yet another checkmark in the pros column. Thanks for reading and hope my review helps you decide to purchase another quality Anker product.

Neat review. I’m waiting for some sales to buy my USB-C supplies. I don’t own a USB-C wall charger, so I need to buy that as well.

I’ve never been to Pittsburgh… what’s it like?

It’s a smaller city as they go it’s probably a quarter the size of LA or NY but it’s a really cool place. Tons of history and a lot of firsts happened right here in our small town. It’s actually divided into 88 different smaller neighborhoods and they each have their own flair. It’s definitely small town local living for most of the city aside from a couple of the really big “neighborhoods” or parts of town. Lot of good people a lot of ethnic diversity and it’s actually been 1/100 in the most livable cities in the US. It’s also a HUGE technology hotbed nowadays. You should come see for yourself and it’s the perfect time of year to visit now through early to mid October is the best portion of the year. Summers here are on the hot humid side but truly are exceptional. So if you have the chance to visit please take the opportunity to do so. Thanks! John

Nice review.

Since I don’t have an Apple device that can take advantage of USB-C I’m holding off until my wife upgrades. But I’m planning to gift chargers and cables to my brother and father this Christmas.

Thanks so much. We definitely don’t get thanks too often. That’s probably my only complaint is really how hard is it to just say “thank you!” I don’t ever, and haven’t ever nor will I ever expect anything but, a simple thank you for doing my job. If I happen to have one of the rare occasions that I save someone’s life, all I need in return is a thank you. I’ve never wanted anything or expect anything else as it’s what I’ve chosen as a lifetime career to take care of people and most days even after 26 long years, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Pittsburgh is a very nice town in most ways I mean pretty much every major city in the world if not just the US has their bad areas and good areas and I have to say after living and working in the city for just shy of 15 years and living close to it the rest of my life prior to moving into and working for the actual city itself, our bad areas have dwindled and remain to decrease as time passes. The best way I guess I’ve heard it described and it is actually very fitting is “it’s the biggest small town in the world” we are also recipient of one of America’s most livable city winner we got to #1 in recent years and possibly multiple years in a row if I’m not mistaken. There’s definitely all 4 seasons here without a doubt we definitely see below 0 temps in the winters and above 100 in the summers multiple days. I hate the winters anymore, when I was younger and could still ski and snowboard and snowmobile and tolerate the cold much better than my later years now, I didn’t mind so much but I’d have to say now I’d leave the winters behind in a blink of an eye, but I’d have a hard time leaving the summers here as well as the fall seasons they’re both exceptional to say the least and honestly if you’re looking to visit right now as we speak is the perfect time of year to come leaving summer and heading into fall. It’s an amazing time of year here for sure with leaves beginning to change etc.
