Nebula Capsule Max Video Codec

Hi, I was really looking forward to using the projector in my camper van but have to say I’m very disappointed and frustrated with how difficult it is to actually get it to play any content. All I want to do should be the very simple task of copying video files onto a USB stick, plugging it into the projector and off we go. But it is definitely not that easy.

I’ve searched extensively on the internet and haven’t found anywhere that tells me which codecs to use, I’ve seen suggestions, and have used ffmpeg to try and get files to play with limited success.
I’ve also seem suggestions the the USB stick needs to be FAT32 but again nothing properly documented.
I’ve got a 128GB stick that it recognizes just fine and it isn’t formatted to FAT32.
I work in IT so I’m ok with trying to get these things working, but saying that I still can’t get it to play files I’ve encoded to H264 video codec.
I realise that’s more of a rant than a question, but I’d love to hear how other people get on trying to get it to play videos off a USB?

Sure you can use it easily.
My USB 128GB Stick is ExFat formatted and has no issue with NC Max.
I use VLC to read the videos. Just find the VLC Apk on some Android stores and install it on the Max.
Copy the APK on the USB stick and install it.
