Hello all, I am just in the process of deciding about a portable beamer, and I thought the Capsule Max was It.
However, there is one thing I just can’t get to work, namely, the settings for Netflix (for example, if I want to display smaller subtitles): In the upper right corner, there is the usual
Netflix speech bubble where those controls reside. However, I cannot access it. Not with the remote in standard mode, not in mouse mode, not with the app.
How in the name of all that is sparkly and entertaining can I change the subtitle settings when using the Nebula Capsule Max?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Nebula Capsule Max - how to control Netflix
If you use the remote that comes with the nebula max, use the arrow keys to navigate to the settings and then press ok once it gets highlighted. This will allow you to change what you need, just make sure to.navigate back to the play bar otherwise you may end up exiting what you are watching
You may also try to use the app on your Smart phone - called as Nebula Connect… Using iPhone with Nebula Connect is Much easier than using the remote in my experience
They already stated theh couldn’t access it with the app, in either mouse mode or control mode. And I can attest to this as the only way I was able to do it was with the directional pad on the regular remote
Thank you all for your replies. Unfortunately, none of your suggestions work. I can switch the remote and the app to mouse mode and navigate to the settings speech bubble. However, once there, it doesn’t get highlighted, and pressing OK does nothing - not on the remote, not in the app.
The same goes for Play/Pause, by the way - once a Netflix movie is playing, it is not possible for me to pause it with the remote or the app. I can pause it with the controls on top of the device itself, but that seems beside the point, and the settings are still out of reach.
Much as I like the image and sound, I guess I’ll return it. The control scheme feels beta at best.
I would suggest you reach out to Nebula Support tomorrow support@seenebula.com … They will have some tips for you to fix the condition.
Use just the physical remote itself, when in a movie hit the up arrow key, then look to see what is highlighted and keep moving it until you get to where you want it and then press enter.
As far as pausing movies when in Netflix, generally pressing the ok button on the physical remote pauses it for me
It seems that the pre-installed Netflix app was the problem. After a delete and re-install it does now react to inputs.
Glad you got it working
