I know of them but in a smaller form factor, I’m aware of the physical challenges. Anyone here track lasers or LED technology if something around the corner?
Btw this has been a deal for at least 3 days now. Saw it when I was making my discount thread. But why is Max less expensive than 2?
Deals are deliberately timed to be on a subset of products when those not in that subset are not discounted. It focuses the consumer’s mind.
So at any particular time, a product appears lower cost than others, if you looked a different time, it’s reversed.
I get that but when you see on Nebula website, you see Capsule 2 is higher price than Max
That’s just two prices, they appear in this context their “launch price” which is an arbitrary moment in time finger in air decision back through time.
Actual street price is based on primarily manufacturing cost, secondary is demand.
Personally, I think both products are overpriced. I don’t own as a result. The fact both products seem to be in the $380-$400 region often when including discount, informs me many think that’s their fair price. The fact the Max seems to have a floor price of $400 informs me there’s plenty buying at that price.

There are lot of differences with Capsule II being superior… Android TV 9.0, Built-in Chromecast, USB-C charging which is faster charging, makes its more portable than Max.
Also Capsule II has been on discount multiple times…
