Nebula Capsule II First Impressions

The official travel case was on Amazon US recently but then dropped to unavailable again…so I guess they are still playing with stock…

Review looks good, will try to give a more in-depth read when I’m not on my mobile

Thanks and thank you for the link! I’ll keep an eye on that and wait for it to become available. I packaged it all back up and plan on keeping it in the box for now when not in use.

Wow, well written review, this looked like complete review  took me sometime to read through this write-up. Will wait on seeing Working and you’re overall experience @TheCharneco

Glad its bringing joy to your family.

Now you can see the brightness and resolution, how do you think it complements your alternatives, like casting to flatscreen, laptop, etc.

Thanks! As comparing it to alternatives go, it’s hard to tell yet since I haven’t used it very much. I would say that as long as the light is low and you have a flat, almost white background to project on, I’d probably choose to cast content to the Capsule II if I have a group of people to entertain. If it’s just me and someone else, I’d stick to something like a laptop, tablet, or mobile device. If we’re talking about movie watching, if I’m home and want the best quality and sound, I’d choose the TV any day, BUT that requires us to be indoors and in the living room. It’s going to be very nice to be able to bring this outside to watch a movie under the stars.

I do think that if you’re the type of person with the desire for mobile entertainment on the go, this is a great compliment to the existing tech in the home. Especially when you take into consideration how small and portable this thing is. Did that answer your question?

Wow, Glad to see that you are happy with it so far. I agree the resolutions and picture clarity is different when compared to 4K TV. But the mobility is what makes this unique and a movie under stars will be awesome experience.

Video looks ok from it. Not bad for a small device. I’m sure the quality is better in real life compared to photo of it.

It’s so cool!!! I’ll be getting my review for it ready this weekend. Life has been INSANE lately and I just haven’t had the time. I did, however, get a bluetooth adapter that I hooked up to my surround sound in the living room. So now when I put a movie on the ceiling in the living room for the kids, they can watch it with surround sound! It’s more like stereo sound, but it sounds way better than the built in speaker, which on its own is still very impressive.

thats good to know. Very few users here are actual nebula users
