My micro USB cables keep loosing grip in my Samsung phone

I’m a huge Anker fan and I’ve purchase multiple micro USB cables for my Samsung phone, but over very short periods of time the cable will loose grip in the phone and fall out.

Can anyone tell me why this keeps on happening and how to avoid this?
Thank You in advance.

Do you feel the pointy things on the flat side to be rouded or pushed in too much?

They get pushed in.

What causes it?

Probably from not inserting it all the way or being bent while using the phone as it charges. Or the corresponding holes from your phone’s port are full of debris. Always happens with that phone and not with other devices? Cable only lasts a week?

I’ve had the teeth get pushed in with other cables (non Anker)and I’ve temporarily fixed them by using a push pin or needle to bend them out but the cable is never the same.

If you look at the micro usb end you will almost always see that it loses grip when it gets bent, even by a little it effects the cable. The only Anker cable I have that has not caused me issues is the powerline + micro usb cable
