My eufy 11S is very hesitant in going under the bed although there is more than enough space for it to glide under. Its a hard wood surface. Its a large bed so there are extra support legs in the middle to hold the frame. Could this be the reason why ? Any suggestions ?
My eufy 11S does not like going under the bed
May be it’s scared of darkness just kidding.
Did you check if there are any blocker / stoppage under the bed, which the 11s sensors detect and avoid the Space?
What happens if you force it to go with the remote? Does it go through?
Also drop a note to Eufy support support@eufylife.com for this behaviour
May be it is afraid to find “something unkown” there! (joke)
I remember another user had a similar issue and it was due to it being too dark under the area, so the sensor on the vacuum thinks its like a void or drop off so it avoids it as if it was going to fall down stairs. @tayfert can you try to illuminate under the bed while running the vacuum to see if it will go under once you do so? If it does then you have your answer on why it avoids the space
Very odd about Robovac 11S… It.does not go to specific area if its lit with bright sunlight… It does not go if its too dark…
Like minds!!
I just posted on the other thread
Thanks guys, well is there a solution to this, say like covering the extra legs with some er material ?
Hey @tayfert i do t think legs are the problem, i think its the contrast between light and dark thats confusing things.
As @Tank mentions and i mentioned in the other post, try illuminating under the bed with a torch and point RoboVac in that location, i bet that sorts it.
Obviously that not a solution but it does then give you the answer to the problem.
