Motion+ paired with iPhone SE 2020 - Recent volume issue

Hi,

Been using a Soundcore Motion+ Bluetooth speaker and iPhone SE 2020 combination for several months to great effect. However, in the last few days, the audio volume on the Motion+ has reduced significantly when paired to my iPhone SE 2020 irrespective of having the Bluetooth volume setting to MAX on my iPhone.

I paired the Motion+ with an older iPod and Motorola Android phone and the audio output was fantastic so I’m guessing that an Apple update has run and had some sort of adverse affect.

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issue in recent days when pairing with an iPhone SE 2020 (or similar Apple product) and know if there’s a workaround.

Try updating to latest Apple iOS software, that seems to be the optik. Since motion+ works well with other devices. What is the iOS version on iphone

Upgraded to IOS 14.0.1 last night in an attempt to flush out the issue. Initially it had no effect.

Later I reset the Motion+ and forgot/paired with the iPhone and there was a significant volume increase, but shortly afterwards, after some disconnecting and re-connecting testing, the volume levels dropped off again.

Paired the phone with a SoundCore Boost and the volume was fine.

Will retest tonight to see where things stand.
