Missing key events

I have adjusted camera settings in my garage so the motion detector is activated reliably with the range of interest. Wifi signal is strong.

However, the camera seems to miss significant events at random. One day it will pick up someone walking in the background (which is great) but will miss major events like me pulling my car right up to the camera and walking right in front of the camera.

Please advise what might be causing missed events as this is a major concern.

Often it is down to motion detection sensitivity, camera height/location or the detection area set, though I’ve often seen a delay in activation by up to 3 seconds in some cases for motion.

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity settings or angle/position of your camera?

If you don’t mind starting from scratch I’d recommend doing a reset. If that doesn’t help then contact support
