Files in my Samsung phone.
I own a Q30 but it seems that I cannot play mp3 s saved in the phone unless I use a wire and another app. Does the Souncore app have a way to access my files? Is it only able to use bluetooth for streaming from elsewhere? Thanks

You dont need the soundcore app to play music.
Connect the Q30 via bt to your phone install a mp3-player of your choice
and listen to your music.
I never use the souncore app.

Will state another potential issue, I had recently since changing to use a different soundcore devices.

When you connect the headset, you will need to go to the BT and hit the cog. It will allow you to activate the device for phone and audio. View it and make sure the audio is active.
