"MICRO SD Card is unable to work re plugg sd card"

I have been having this problem since October. There won’t be any recording even though the camera’s are armed. When I go to my devices click on storage I get this message " MICRO sd card cannot work re insert sd card or restart homebase" I have to restart the home base or now I have an option to repair the sd card for it to work. The camera won’t record while this message is there and it happens every 1-2 days mostly in the middle of the night when I need them working. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it. Any help appreciated.

I would go for a fresh microSD card, sounds like the current one could be failing.

Have you tried it with another card?
Got a similar issue in the past with a Canon.
After using another card it’s fine.
But interesting I can use the “defect” card in another device without any problem

I purchased this card in September and it worked fine until we went on holidays, it started with the message while on holidays in October. I haven’t tried the original card that came with the system since I bought this 128 gb card. I have thought about formatting the card but haven’t tried that yet. This card is only 3.5 months old surely it’s not failing already? It’s a samsung and has warranty.

It never doesn’t matter how old an item is.
Do some tests with the card by inserting it in another item.
But as I mentioned, even its working with that, it can show failure with the camera.
Formatting could help to get rid of defective sectors.

Thanks I’ll format the card and see what happens, I’ll also try with the original card and see if I get the same message.

I put the original card back into the home base 3 days ago and so far it’s working although a couple of cameras sudenly aren’t recording audio and I needed it today. I haven’t formatted the samsung card as yet as I’m waiting to see if the same issue arises with the original card. Sometimes the samsung would work for a week before the error occurred so waiting to see. Will post an update in a couple weeks ( unless it happens again) with my results. Thanks everyone for the help.
