Mars 2 Plex Subtitles (Update?)

I have subtitles enabled by default on my Plex Server account, and I see them when playing a given file via my Roku stick, my Mac desktop via the web app, or using the Plex app on one of my iOS devices. But the subtitles on the same file, from the same server/account, are missing when I play it via the Plex app on my Nebula Mars 2 projector.

I suspect this may have to do with the player version on the Mars (8.3.1.19108), which hasn’t had an update in quite a while. Is there a more recent version that needs to be sideloaded somehow? The Mars firmware is up-to-date.

It looks like the current Android TV version in the Play Store is 8.18.2.25850 (!) - would I need the arm64-v8a or the armeabi-v7a build?

Got some help over in the Plex forums, and sideloading an update of the Plex app for Android (8.19.1 - the previously installed 8.3.1 was released almost exactly a year ago!) does seem to have resolved my issue - why hasn’t the Mars offered any updates to Plex (or Netflix, or Amazon, or any of the other apps for that matter) in forever? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
