I have noted elsewhere that it is not currently possible for an automatic live view to take place on an echo show when the door bell is triggered. Does anyone have any idea when this might be possible?

I believe it is currently an Amazon limitation, because I’m not able to do this with my Arlo cameras either.

I spent time researching the best smart doorbell and the wired Eufy was the best solution. Installation was a breeze, everything worked as expected without any hiccups. The only thing I didn’t (but should have) researched was the inability to get it to work with the Amazon Show 8 (which I just received).
Is there a definitive plan to get this work or should I return the device and start the search all over again (despite this massive oversight and the excessive latency while chatting, it is a very good product)?
