Like Holiday Lights? Tell Denver Thankya

Holiday lights are a very common sight in the Western world during December.

Ever wonder how that tradition got started? It’s possible it started in Denver, Colo., courtesy of a kind dad-electrician named DD Sturgeon in 1914. A few years later, another electrician, John Malpiede, changed the lights in Civic Center Park to red and green.

I know, I know, this doesn’t have much at all to do with Anker, SOLIX, or any of our brands really, but where would any of brands be without electricity? Plus, I like to think that someone, somewhere is powering a giant light display with the SOLIX F2000 or maybe the SOLIX F3800 (we’ve started shipping them!) or at least the SOLIX C1000! (Plus, some of you know I live near Denver so this didn’t pop into my social news feed randomly.)
