This has been one of the most frustrating parts of my life with phone cases. I recently saw a review on a docking station that you can adjust the lightning port(apple user here). But there are a lot of accessories that don’t take this in consideration. I have been trying to record a podcast using my phone, the mic is decent but not good if by any chance you decide to record something in your car(sometimes feeling inspired by the scenic route). I have bought cases that you put together in 2 parts but this will require an extra step. Has some one found a solution for this like a lightning extender that have fix this issue? Some brands out there in amazon are hard to trust.

This is a problem with most all docking stations out there. I don’t know of any fix or extenders for this but good luck.
