Awesome comparison. 
As always, your reviews are very informative. I have the Life P2 and love it. But one thing I dislike is how hard it is to take out of the case. The Liberty Air 2 is a better design IMO due to this fact. I mainly use my Life P2 to play music but from your video, the Liberty Air 2 would be better equip for voice calls. Is it just me or does it sound like the Air 2 has more background noise? The P2 sounds more like you’re in a tunnel, thus, background noise isn’t as pronounced. Or is it that the Air 2 provides louder volume, hence, you can hear more of the background noise? Overall, I think that if one can afford the Air 2, it would be a better choice. From what I’ve seen in your video, as a recap… the Air 2 produces better sound (louder), uses the app to customize and update firmware, has a better case, allows you to see the battery charge level, and better for voice calls. So that in itself, warrants the extra moolah from the Life P2. Oh, and the fact that you can change the volume from it is cool too.
Anyway, thanks for the informative comparison. I’ve wondered the difference myself. After seeing this video, I would definitely pick up the Liberty Air 2 when I need another set of earbuds. Well done with the review.

The reason the Air 2 case is smaller is it contains a smaller battery. You do say the Air 2 has less battery life including the case.
You are correct on aptX, the Life P2 has aptX but the web page doesn’t mention. I just now did a quick check with my Life P2, I do get aptX.
I do not own the Air 2, only the Life P2. My view is not related to quality, specs, but price vs wireless. These wireless buds are far more likely to fall out and get lost, so you will be spending more of your ownership time with just 1 bud. Given that, I’d rather spend less $ on wireless and spent more $$ on wired as I’ll get save more $/use over the spend’s life.

Thank you!!! Yes I agree 100% it’s hard to get the earbuds out of the Life P2 case! Yeah I was surprised about that too not sure the reason could be any of what you stated or someone may know more! Again thank you for the response.

Very good review @Tube_Techie have the Life P2 which get quite a bit of use amongst my other earbuds, hope to add the Liberty Air 2 someday to compare the audio quality
