Liberty Air Charging Case: Strange LED Behavior

I’ve had my Liberty Airs for over a month now and I’m pretty happy with them. There’s one problem though.

When I plug in the case to charge it, all 3 LEDs will light up indefinitely unless I unplug the charger cable and plug it back in again. After I do that the charging indicators behave as expected.

Can I fix this somehow without going through a warranty replacement?

Have you tried using a different cable to rule that out as being the issue? Or even the wall plug you use

I only have two Samsung-type cables (I forget the actual name for them): one that came with an Anker power brick and the one that came with the Liberty Airs. Both produce the same results hooked up to an Apple iPad charger, generic powered USB hub, and a charger from Hama.

I tried shorting the left charging pins, but that didn’t have any effect. The case did some awkward blinking right afterward, so I’m assuming I achieved a reset.

By the way, it might be worth mentioning that the Liberty Airs have behaved like this from day one, and that this isn’t something that just started occurring over time.

Either contact support@Anker.com or live with it i guess.

Yesterday I emptied the case battery’s charge to zero. When I plugged in the charger cable the LEDs were behaving normally again. Here’s hoping they stay that way.
