Liberty Air 2 microphone static on Zoom calls

When I try to use my Air 2s for a Zoom call on my MacBook, the microphone only records loud static. In the Test speaker and microphone settings screen, without talking at all the input level is almost half way up, producing a loud static sound on playback. When I do speak, the playback is still only static.

The microphone works fine otherwise, in other apps on my laptop and on my phone… Any ideas what’s happening?

Likes like a bug in the program from the description. Can you manually adjust the mic in system preferences when using the app? Or have you tried a re-install of the Zoom application on your MacBook…

I also posted to the Zoom forum, and finally heard back from them. It seems the “Automatically Adjust Audio” option was the problem. I unchecked it and now seems to be fine.
