What’s the point of these wing tips? Are they suppose to loop around your ear?

The wing tips help to lock the earbud into your ear. When you insert the earbud into your ear you want to do so with the earbud pointing down, and then rotate it 180 degrees right or left to lock it into your ear. The wings help secure it in place so you can run or move about without them falling out of your ear

If you want true wireless earbuds they have ear hooks that hook around your ear, you should wait for the release The soundcore spirit X2.
