It’s fine just say something true and see either yawns or well done. Say something wrong, or claim personal opinion as fact and watch those who care about truth to respond negatively.
Example of false statement provoking negative:
Statement: So, I think the number 2 is bigger than the number 3 because I read it somewhere, it’s common knowledge.
Reply: no it’s not.
Response: well that blew up quickly.
Example of just a point of view:
Statement: I think man on the moon was a great accomplishment
Reply: no the first lander on Mars was.
Response: …debate…
