It's Been A Long Time

Hey thanks @professor
Funny you mention swiss army knives, I ordered this yesterday.
Mainly to pair with a new torch I bought recently.

I don’t need many tools on the move. But this seems to tick most of the boxes to get you out of trouble and do some minor repairs.

Quick! Quick! Saw that wood!

My knives EDC are either of these

AC_SX522

I also have

I’m mostly with the EDC but the others if I’m heading into a day I may need more. I was doing electrical wiring work at the weekend.

I put the Anker specific EDC into a thread What's in your Every Day Carry (EDC)? it’s June now so not carrying a flashlight just a USB powered small thing with a Powercore to get good-enough coverage. As it’s summer I’m with fewer / smaller pockets so more towards the lighter end. Leaving today with

As I’m still pruning everything en-route doing the council’s job.

This is a nice one, Paul.
Yes, this has all tools one needs.
I don’t have that model.
I bought that mini champ recently and this is really great and I love it.

By the way Victorinox offers a fantastic support.
This big bulky champ I got and sold :
There was one these plastic parts missing.
(Dont know how these are called in English, help me out :grinning:)
Wrote them and they send me 2 pairs of replacements for free,
That’s Switzerland, not only good in chocolate! :grinning:

Take such one with you.
Cant upload any photo.
Strange.
Could be caused by the heat here in München!

But this one all my friends and especially the sawers will like!

Toothpick?

You don’t have to suffer as your German heat is a lower humidity, there’s cheap ways to solve, with Anker.

No the toothpick and the tweezers are easy to order from Victorinox.
Cost are a few cents.

Those, I meant are these.
They are available too and really easy to swap.
Even I could!

Indeed, a FRANZiskaner Weißbier is the best solution, as usual.
Prost!

Could do.
But I bought 5 of these little torches.
The will do it for next years.
But there is a knife with torch available from Victorinox
I am sure.

True but that idea is physically smaller.

I have plenty of torches already.

In June I’m not carrying these just use phone or a USB powered light as I’m always with Powercore. In winter usually an Anker LC40.

Not the collection of a minimalist…
One LC 40 is really enough for me.
Works perfectly since many years.

So one is enough?

Recently heard this joke not to long ago that my kids tell me is kinda old.

Ask him if he wants “up dog”.

Hopefully he say What’s up dog.

You can then respond like “Nothing much what is up with you”

This a funny little torch.
The most eco-friendly I have ever seem.
Solar-panel and a crank handle for manual charging.

Works!
