Issues with Soundbuds Curve

Hi there,

First time posting. I’ve tried looking for help on amazon reviews and the forums here but have not found much information.

Here’s some of the problems I’ve been experiencing with my soudnbuds curve that I bought in Nov 2017.

  1. Soundbuds curve randomly disconnects from my iphone 7 despite having close to 100% charge on both the soubdbuds curve and the iphone, and the iphone is in my jeans pocket. What I’d do is to turn off the Bluetooth on my phone and turn it on again and try to reconnect, it reconnects, but it happens quite often.
  2. Earbuds cannot pair with more than 1 device at once despite being Bluetooth 4.1 which technically allows for pairing of more than 1 device and seamless switching between devices.
  3. Earbuds will at times have intermittent connection/interference despite having no physical barrier between iphone in pocket and earbuds on my head.

I wonder if anyone has experienced the same thing, and has managed to fix the problem.

Hi @Joshua_Ng3 , for points 1 & 3 have you tried a fresh pairing of the SoundBuds Curve with your iPhone and/or tried on more than one device with the same issues occurring?

As for point 2 as you mentioned, yes 4.1 technically allows for pairing to more than one device but only if enabled by the developer. As far as I am aware Anker keep it as 1 to 1 pairing…

You could reach out to support@anker.com with your issues to see if they can shed more light on what you mentioned should a fresh pairing fail to resolve or if they occur on more than one device…

Yeah, I noticed this on my Curves as well, although it was briefly with a tablet I don’t use much so didn’t do much follow-up testing on the issue. However, it’s inexcusable to not support a feature which is pretty much universal among all modern Bluetooth gear.
