I think so because it it better to spend a lot of money to have it long lasting and just throw 5$ aways for some cheap stuff.
Is the price worth the quality?
I must agree with you because it is not worth losing money for each bad purchase of a not high quality item when you could buy something like this once and it would last for a good time. I don’t think their prices are that high though.
Yes. I have seen other products cost more, but nothing compares to an Anker.
The combo of price and quality are what we call value. So obviously we want the price to reflect the quality of the product. I could pay two dollars less and get a cheapo cable, but I won’t. Cause the quality isn’t there, hence it’s not a good value to me.
There are some wear and tear products where it’s better to go cheap. Tech, not so much.
higher price doesn’t always mean better quality but with the support anker have on their product at least in my own point of view it’s worth it. Since I know for sure if anything goes wrong with the product they will stand by their words and not give you the run around.
I am a new anker user. Can’t answer the question until I try out my new car charger. I have read so many great reviews about Anker that I decided to try them out.
I would say definitely! Anker products are reasonably priced for the quality & durability.
I have been resplendently shocked with Anker’s support. It only seems to get better over time unlike some other newer brands on the market.
I think Anker has the price/quality balance just right.
I also posted a similar post about how people feel about the prices of Anker products so if you would want to see that you could.
Anker support is Amazing. Anker marketing department are beyond useless.
This is something I’ve always truly debated.
I’ve had first hand experience with both cheap and “trashy” quality and also spending a little bit more to get a “name brand” per say that I hoped would last me longer. To keep this relevant, I’ll give an example of charging cables.
I used to buy a 3 pack of 6ft charging cables for under $5, but I found that after about 2 weeks, I’d be throwing one out and using the next because they stopped working. I decided to up my game and buy one $15 cable and it’s lasted me over 6 months now. While this might not be all that scientific or maybe I just got lucky, but I think paying more for a brand, like Anker, with support and backing behind their name is definitely worth it.
tldr; Yes, price is absolutely worth quality.
It depends on if you are going to assume it works.
In the specific examples of a USB battery you are carrying to get through a busy day or longer trip, it is an item you are assuming will work when you need it, and why would you therefore not go with quality?
Also, Anker is not expensive, good value, particularly if patient and wait for a discount code option.
The most common failing items I have found are USB cables, they don’t so much totally fail but they eat up power losses and charge slower, so that’s where I’d give particular focus on quality.
Anker is the best charger provider, from desktop charger, car charger, external batteries. So i think you will love your new car charger very soon
Yes. It’s worth it, even if it’s a few extra bucks over the competitor. Anker is the best.
And yes, the cables are covered for warranty, I do recommend actually finding the serial numbers for yours. They were printed on a strip label that needed to be removed (ugly), most now are laser printed into the insulation sheath on all but the braided IIRC. If you don’t have or keep them at least on file, support will not help you. This goes to cost as if they fail inside of 9 months you basically are getting two for one.
Quality always comes with a price, and I would agree that it is worth paying a bit more for something that meets your needs and is dependable. With that said, Anker products are reasonably priced, particularly when you factor in the 18-month warrant - which in itself speaks to the quality you can expect.
If you are offered competive pricing and good quality items with an 18month warranty that should speak for itself. Anker offer all the above.
I have a cable and powerbank and the quality is far more superior that some cheap one i got from eBay. Im a believer for paying more for quality.
I own “dozens” of Anker products (directly or I helped others or gifted others) and I have had exactly 2 failures, one was when Anker reached out proactively to me a couple of years ago saying their Powerport5 was defective in design and I could get a new one, and then today my IE20 headphones were getting complaints from others as I was making calls, I traced to a bit of a dodgy wire, I emailed Anker and explained with photos etc to show, and they just shipped a replacement.
The speed of response and the pragmatic response is just perfect.
Cough in contrast to others I could mention who require shipping the unit back at my cost to then wait for it to be proved defective before they then ship a replacement.
