Is recordings SEND to server from homebase?

Ok server is back and the Eufy app seems to be running… BUT no recording for Motion events for the doorbell, just a notification showing up on the phone. WTH is going on ??? I formatted the storage, and i tried so many filter settings , and see if it was the filter problem… nothing came up, HOWEVER ,few more tries back-and-forth with the dates. it flashed a second of my today’s recordings! The problem is I “FORMATTED“ how come formatted recordings still came up for a second on my phone! Is the all footages upload to the server first ??

As far as we can tell, as it’s not fully explained, “events” are uploaded to the server but the raw original data is not. So formatting erases the videos but events are retained.

In geek speak that means metadata is on the server and data is kept at host.

Are you using Android or iOS…could have been a remnant in the cache under Android…
