I just downloaded the free trial version of Final Cut Pro X from Apple’s website, and I was wondering if it’s worth the upgrade - for a whopping $300 - over iMovie. I’d greatly appreciate the sharing of your thoughts / experiences, if applicable. As always, thank you and have a nice day!
Is Final Cut Pro Worth It?
Depends, do you do enough video editing to warrant dropping $300 over iMovie, or are there things you are wanting to do in your videos that iMovie does not cater for?
If you do a lot of editing then yes it is. Its more powerful tools and it will streamline your work.
A lot of the pros use final cut for a majority of their edit work.
