iPad charging & discharging while connected to powerport

Hi there,

I’ve had an “Anker PowerPort I PD 60W 5-Port USB Wall Charger” for a while now and have noticed an issue when charging my iPad; it charges up to around 80/90 percent and then discharges down to zero while still displaying the charging icon in the status bar.

I’m attaching the graph from the battery settings. When I get the 10% remaining notifications is when I unplug and reconnect the cable, at which point it seems to start charging again.

I’m using an Apple usb-c to lightning cable in the pd port.

We are sorry to know the problem with your wall charger. Please try the following troubleshooting to see if it helps at all.

  • Let the charger sit for 5 min without being plugged into the outlet and without anything plugged into the charger itself. This resets the charger and might solve the issue.
  • Try another cable and a different outlet.
  • Try charging a different device.

If the problem remains, please contact Anker Customer Support via support@anker.com to process a warranty claim.
