Funny because I am part of the beta for iOS and all I see is 12.4 Public Beta 5… hmmmmm!
Thanks for sharing this! I have it downloading right now!
I am so glad I have not to care about IOS and Windoofs (sic).
LINUX users are some kind of “abnormal”, I know.
But they are LUCKY.
No malware around , no need of virus scanners.
They can use their old devices. No need to buy new ones.
We don’t need lot of storage space!
(Windoofs (sic) demanding 32GB! What for?)
One times LINUX, LINUX for ever!
I’m on the beta right now. As far as I can tell, it’s super stable, and I’ve had very few issues. I had 2 problems with the messages app, but I reported them already.
I really like the swipe keyboard… it’s better than any other I’ve used tbh, but that’s an opinion. It should have been here a long time ago.
The dark mode is good, but I wish it was more greyish rather than black. I assume they did this so it saves battery life on OLED screens.
The reminders app is nice, but not revolutionary. It definitely needed a redesign, but the changes aren’t anything to rage over.
The new camera features are nice. The most notable being the video editing tools. You can basically do anything to videos, that you could with photos. The interface for editing both photos and video is much nicer, and easier to use with the same functionality.
In addition to those features, you can also adjust the intensity of light on a portrait mode photo if your phone supports it.
The maps AR thing is cool, but it’s only for large cities. It seems to require a lot of bandwidth to do lol. Overall the new maps app is pretty cool. It’s not really any different, just a slightly different cleaner UI.
I think I’ve touched on all he important things, but if anyone has any questions let me know.
I’ve also noticed that the “formatting tools” that were advertised for iPad, are also on iOS. They work well from what I’ve used.
