iOS 13 may show that the new iPhone could have USB-C
It would be very annoying if they do change as Iāve got a shed load of cables scattered around the house / office but it will happen soon. Thing is, I never use the cable in the box (for selling on purposes) so would have to buy new cables.
Would be a complete ball ache having to replace all my existing cables. But ā¦ Iām not planning on changing my phone for a while yet so it wouldnāt really have an immediate effect on me.
I have been leaning towards wireless charging lately, but definitely USB-C to USB-C will be a great plus. I believe wireless will end up been the standard.
It is matter of time before smartphones go port-lessā¦ And wireless charging and OTA updates become the new standardā¦ Apple watch does it already ( charging for now 
) ā¦
Except while I travel, I donāt use the cable to charge my phones, do the wireless charging at home & work.
