Me and my dad are going on a two week car trip through Germany, would be nice to have a speaker during that trip, preferably the pro version as I think Im gunna buy the sound core 2 for the battery life.

I’m still interested in getting a speaker, mainly any of the SoundCore products, especially since they are waterproof and will most likely be safe when on the beach with my family. However I’m questioning its ability to keep the wires safe inside. Waterproof is great and all, but it’s also limited too, especially around salt water…

My Dad (now gone) was a tough man. Everything was to be done in exacting standards…his standards and his way. I tried my best but could seldom please him. It taught me to more appreciative for what others could do. I still loved him despite this.

@Jack_The_Ripper I like hanging around outside with the kids, gardening and listening to music. I always forget and leave my speaker outside because having two kids there are lots of distractions. The IP57 water resistant should be enough for you, but the top standard is IPx7, which is fully submersible. But that’s more like, “Im going swimming with my speaker today.”
