If you have a Karapax product come in!

Do you find that the Karapax protectors andd cases compare to the big guys like OtterBox or Spigen? Not necessarily in overall protection, but in quality! Anker is generally at the top of the pile when it comes to that:wave:

I owned an Otterbox case for my iPhone 6, and I find them too bulky…
I had a light case from Anker to replace it, and it was much better. Well made TPU, protective enough for the phone, and for a fraction of Otterbox.

You can buy with confidence

Well good news is I have a power user item coming in now from Karapax, so I’ll find out tonight I think!

Hehe can’t wait to read your review of it then !

I have never used an otterbox only because that thing makes my nice phone into a building piece of a brick house.

I do a pretty good job in not dropping my phone (never have so far, crossing my fingers), and so when I do rarely get a case, I look for minimalistic ones.

I love spigen’s neohybrid series and it was really sleek for me when I had it.

In terms of Karapax cases, I recently won the slogan contest and I got the touch for iphone7. It feels great and adds a pretty good protection imo. My mother in law rocks in right now and seems to like it.

I would assume the otterbox offers the best protection because look at that thing, its massive.

I wouldnt really know the protection between spigen and karapax because I would need to really test it by dropping stuff, which I do not want to do LOL

My opinion is that they both offer great protection (probably equally good) but they just differ in aesthetics.
I do believe the Karapax ones are cheaper atm due to it being recently launched and all.

Hope that helps!

I have used otterbox until I discovered other brands do much better protecting my phone. Most recently I have used an aluminum case which I know works because I ran kver it with my car and my phone didn’t break. I have snice stopped using it because it messed with my WiFi signal, although I did use it for over a year that way.

I have won the karapax case and screen protect which I gifted to a coworker. She let me drop test it and report how well it’s held up…you can search and find my review on it

I’ve never been a fan of cases like Otterbox. To me, they were always too bulky. Sure, they provided maximum protection for your devices but at the cost of carrying around a mini tablet vs a phone. LOL. I prefer slimmer cases, ones that allow me to stick in my back pocket and still be able to sit down without it pinching me in the butt or falling out. I recently won the Karapax Shield for the iPhone 8. I don’t have an 8 but the case fit fine on my husband’s 6s… with just a slight blockage on the back camera…not even noticeable when taking a picture. He loves it. He actually prefers it to the Anker ToughShell that he had on it. And the design is much nicer to look at too. But if I had to choose a case like Otterbox or even Anker’s thicker cases, I’d go Anker. Why? Well, I trust Anker. And their prices are sooooo much better. But then again, it all comes down to how much you can afford, what look you’re going for, and how much protection you REALLY need.

I’ve owned otterbox cases for years. I don’t think they are made that well. Sure they will save your phone from drops but at the cost of being bulky and ugly. They also don’t last that long. I get about 4 months out of it before the outer rubber shell stretches out, the port cover rip off. Then about 7 month in the plastic frame start cracking.

My last one fell apart after 5 months of use and that’s with one 3 ft drop. Neither the case or the phone was damaged. When I called in for the their so called life time warranty they said they discontinued that case (the phone is less than 4 years old) and no longer carried that model but the rep offered to sell me a different model at full price.

I’m no longer a fan of their products and will be moving to the Anker cases when its time for an upgrade. I think they are a better made case and they look better and are lighter than most on the market.

Wow! That bites! The least they could have done was give you credit towards another. It’s not your fault that they offered the life time warranty. And I agree with you about how FUGLY the Otterbox cases are.

I just received a Karapax touch case… I was honestly surprised by the quality and fitment of it. It is a though yet flexible TPU case. Decent size lip to protect the screen. This specific case feels that is very competitive if not better than the “name brands” of cases. Looks like it will last n keep its shape for awhile. Don’t know how long ima keep it on since I prefer a more minimal case.

I’d really like to try those Karapax cases. They really seem great.
