This would be very helpful to “hit that hole” for old weak eyes like mine.
Seems like a very sensible request to me. These connections are usually in a recess and now behind a rubber bung so finding the hole is going to prove a little more difficult anyway.
Yes indeed. After opening the rubber plug you see nothing.
All black! Black rubber, black hole… 
So a tiny white edging around these sockets makes those holes much more visible.
How about fluorescent or glow in the dark.
