Yea the fact that you can recharge your Qi enable wireless charging earbuds from just your phone is quite awesome!
Huawei Mate X vs Samsung Fold
Wasn’t as big of a leap as you might think, I had upgraded the Note 3 to 7.1
I do miss the replaceable battery though instant recharge and the ability to easily replace a battery that has suffered battery degradation.
I guess I’ll just have to keep upgrading regularly.
That’s okay I don’t think my little brother who gets all my hand-me-downs minds.
Just stop. I miss one word an I get accused of point farming. Just stop.
Oh please, ever since they announced tshirts for level 7 and up you have been set on farming points. Steady keeping track of where you stand for points and how many more you need to get to level 7. Go ahead and deny it when you blatantly posted about it in the level up thread
Man you just reminded me of the one phone who ‘got away’ or should I call it the blow up phone? I’m talking about the note 7. I only had it for a few weeks but man I loved that phone
Replacing batteries was great, I remember on my old note 4 I had a zerolemon battery, it made the phone thicker but it lasted me like 2 days with HEAVY use and it still had some juice left.
One feature I really wish they would bring back is the IR blaster!!
So here’s what I’ve decided about this community. Basically everyone level 9 and up (franz as the exception) makes this place thoroughly unpleasant to be on. Everyone else is fine, just the higher level people. All those points must be getting to your heads…
I’ve been using the AnyMote app and AnyMote Home for years and it works great and doesn’t require you to point your phone directly at the TV which doesn’t sound like a big deal but is a pain in the ass when laying in bed or on the couch.
They no longer manufacturer anymote home but sometimes they pop up on ebay
You’re both wrong and right.
The higher level members just been here longer, and yes, significantly sit on lots of bucks. That means they are here for the chat, to learn, have fun, and NOT to earn bucks. Some members here don’t find enough things to spend bucks as fast they earn.
So those higher level members spot someone creating just posts and threads for purely bucks as extremely obvious.
Consider this a challenge, raise your bar, raise the debate, raise quality, add value, help others.
Consider, say @joshuad11 as a goal to achieve, good insight, good knowledge. Also note how @Tank answers in helpful ways usually timely.
In your case I know English is not your primary language and this is an English language forum primarily so I accept you have a bit more challenge than others here. But copy/paste and one liners is not really valuable.
Never heard of them before, but thanks, I will check them out even if they don’t make them anymore
“You might wanna take a long hard look in the mirror and see if the person looking back at you is the kind of person you want to be.”
Thank you @professor I think you summed up my and others feelings perfectly on the matter.
If I’m remembering correctly I think I scored my second one for $35 shipping included but I have seen them for double or triple that price. But you could always set up an eBay alert for “anymote home”
Anyway the anymote home is a great a little device that is able to learn remote commands and the application has an extensive library of codes for amplifiers TVs AC units anything with an IR remote.
Seems like I’m gonna have to be on top of my game for get this item for a good price. I’ll keep my eyes open and will set an alert for it. Thanks again!!
I think a Logitech Harmony hub is your best you can get a refurbished one on Amazon for 50 bucks.
I completely agree, unless these exorbitant prices for the devices come down and more people have access to them, people will lose interest in those. Why pay more when you can get cheaper, better device for less - even if I have 2 devices
Thank you @TheDude I was looking for this kind of a device for longtime. Out of no options had to settle for Logitech Harmony 650 and had plans to upgrade to Harmony Hub. Will explore the Anymote option.
Definitely geared towards power users, it’s complicated to set up but works great when you do have it set up and even works with Amazon Alexa. not sure how they compare you might want to do a little more research I’m sure the harmony is easier to set up as well but I opted for the anymote home because of the small form factor and I had already been using the anymote universal remote application on my phone.
Guys let’s keep this thread civil…without the attacks and snipes around gaining points…(which even the most senior member was guilty of when the community first started and the buzz is around for leveling up)
Guidance to lower level members is constructive…sniping isn’t

Were you chosen to be the moderator because you are level headed or has being the moderator made you more level-headed?
Either way I’m glad you’re here and that you are a moderator😎
Why consumers need mobiles?
Mine, a old IPHONE (neither foldable nor breakable )
is stored in a cupboard!
Think it was just slim pickings at the time fella
Thanks…on certain days other might feel differently
