Hotspot for Eufy 2c

Hello,
Can I hotspot Eufy 2c security camera set or do I need to get internet connected to the house?

You need an ethernet cable to router to setup then you can unplug the ethernet cable and setup wifi so I think you need an internet connection first.

Eufy 2c connects over non-Wifi radio to the homebase.

The homebase connects to your Wifi or Ethernet to the Internet.

HI, I am a newbie. Just ordered a 3 cam 2c kit for my boat last night and won’t arrive until 3 weeks. I have a 4g router and was wondering would using Google home or Alexa screens let me view videos on the same local network without using the internet?

@menogue747 No! The eufy HomeBase2 Only uses ethernet or wifi to transmit data there is no other option to be able to do this. I hope you did not buy these cameras with the assumption of being able to. Hope this helps :v:t2:
