I’ll try it when I have a new router, currently have 36 devices & router can’t handle it, keeps dropping clients & crashing, new one rated for 120 devices

Has been added quietly and secretly several updates ago. Also just noticed it by accident some weeks ago.
As regular their eufy update changelogs (if any available at all) are very patchy and not complete.
This had been complained since month, nothing changed until yet.
About the wifi-connection of the homebase:
I am using it wired, as i already have enough lags and had to move the homebase to an unplanned location to get my cams at all connected (because of horrible range) and had to extend my wifi for this case by a wifi-extender too.
So if i would additionaly connect the homebase by wifi too, my lags and issues would increase i guess. Therefore i keep it connected my wire to my wifi-extender. Else i would have like several “hops”.
Sure, i could extend the horrible eufy-cam to eufy-homebase range by connecting the homebase by wifi, as the wifi range is much better and larger. But this is not how it should be and also my homebase would be located OUTSIDE of my flat/house then! So i put all my hopes onto the announced eufy cam range extender before connecting the hombease by wifi just to gain some more meters of eufy cam range!
But if anyone tries it, i am curious about his experiences with the wifi-connected homebase and the results, advantages or disadvantages of it.
