Not so spectacular.
The view from the veranda of the house we always rent at Sao Jorge island.
No beach, but at this little harbor its very quiet and there is a bar at the right side.
All what pensioners need.
HOPE we can visit this summer!

Yes it is. I tell my co-workers that are in Nebraska, that we get cranky when we don’t see the sun for an entire day hah. They will go a week without sun shine. I would lose it!
Anything above 10% humidity and it feels like a tropical rainforest
hah, TRUTH!!! Around the parts, we like it dry, but not Arizona dry.
I agree with you
Don’t forget the lack of oxygen lol
Clothes stick to you like a wet suit
Stunning views!
I love summer because its the time of year i have the most time to teach my children the life lessons passed down to me by my parents. Even though we are a tech-centric family, i always teach my kids to stay grounded in nature.
I love sumer fun with my little Padwan coders!
I almost forgot that part…most likely because of, well, lack of oxygen lol.
Well I thought I’d put forward a couple of shots.
We are very much outdoor people. Debs, Charlie and I prefer to be out in the fresh air than inside.
We live a 25 minute drive from the coast which means practically every weekend we drive to Cromer - regulars here will already be aware of this
Summer for us is a trip to our favourite coastal destination.
Ice cream on the beach, a paddle in the sea and fish and chips for lunch.
We so hope the summer is still with us when we can visit again when all the shops and cafes are open.
Charlie testing the waters,
Cromer Pier,
This was a great shot in colour but lent itself really well to a monochrome conversion.
Black and white really makes those clouds stand out.
Amazing photograph.
Beautiful family
And cooking is changed due to the high altitude
Here is one of my 3 apples I found this year on my little tree.
Last year there was a big harvest : 13 apples in autumn.
But we are in crisis this year.!
So many joys living at altitude. We went camping a few weeks ago around Jefferson lake area, and cooking at 9K feet is even more challenging.
