Has anyone used the entry sensor outside?
Now that the sensors can be linked to cameras I might get round to using mine but my doors are now setup with a different system that’s much smaller

so I want to use these for garden gates embedded into the frame

As they are rated to internal use I can imagine the PCB isn’t conformally coated

Has anyone coated an entry sensor or sealed the case?

Has anyone tried them outside unmodified?

Anyone know what the max range is?

Looks an easy one to conformally coat, just got to be careful around the button

Well I’ve put 2 outside, wanted to make sure they are ok with the environment before notching the gate & frame

Used acrylic coating
