Did everyone survive this morning’s Google outage? I found out about when I tried to fire up YouTube TV this morning and kept trying to login for about 15 minutes.

Just about, thought it was my browser as first when trying to get on Gmail…after trying my second browser I checked the status page…never seen it all in red before

It was announced in our local news this morning here, but not only Gockel (sic)
others were affected and off line too.
The reason : They outsourced their servers to old friend Kim !
And there was a small power failure!

They said they had a disk full. Wonder if they use server with fixed disk and just cluster them?
Enterprise storage systems NFS mounted which can autogrow and move would be one solution.

I started having immediate withdrawal symptoms when I could not play my Niantic (Google) games. I’m much better now.
