Mac, whenever you run short of food caused by Brexit you should come to Munich, Bratwurst ( many different sorts ) and handmade Frikadellen ( we call these Fleischpflanzerl in Bavaria) by Franz are waiting for your fiancee and you.:grin::grin:

Sounds like a good plan. We need a 2 bed ground floor apartment or a bungalow, with a small decked, paved garden (big enough to enjoy, but small enough not to need lots of work). Then ya got a deal… Not sure how it’ll be paid for or what income well get (do you get disability benefits in Germany?).

I forgot your cat.
There are others in the neighbourhood.
Hope they will accept a “real refugee” from the Island and share their cat food. ( Lissy und Carlo)
I can ask them.

If you have any local markets that are not chain supermarkets, check there. Likewise with butchers. They both usually have some amazing sausages that cannot be found anywhere else. I had an apple cheddar one the other day that was out of this world.

Thanks for the reminder

I’d definitely like it if Anker/Eufy started competing with Nest, in the sense of making smoke/CO detectors. Imagine a smart detector like Nest makes, but at less than half the cost! That would be amazing. Let’s see it happen.

Here in the Midwest, there are a few areas all called “German Village.” Several restaurants create and sell their own sausage/bratwurst, but the best I’ve found is from “Schmidt’s,” a German restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.

How far is that from Charleston?
