What's the preferred method for deprecating promo/sale threads? I have some assumptions, but mainly questions
- I assume archival rather than deletion..?
- What about adjusting title?
- Request thread closure from Admins?
Etc etc, input appreciated
Forum Best Practices Question
Thread titles , and messages cannot be edited after a while.
Old threads resurrected have a warning.
Moderator lock threads so cannot be replied to if a reply in today’s context means its not the best place.
Threads merge if basically the same question, e.g. a new thread is merged into a better earlier thread.
No Archive as such, other than messages become read-only eventually.
