Flare+ or Soundcore Boost

Quick question. What are people’s thoughts on the Flare+ Vs Soundcore Boost? I already have a Motion+ and a Flare Mini (thanks @AnkerOfficial !) . However I really like the Flare Mini and was considering a Flare+ to go along with it. But I’ve also been looking at the Boost. What do people think? Boost too much like the Motion+ or Flare+ too much like the Flare Mini…?!?

Confusing question I realise! Any comments greatfully received!

Many thank in advance

Will

I don’t own the flare+ or the boost, but I am going to give you what I’ve gathered from reviews and such.

The flare+ (which I’ve used, but don’t own) is much louder and higher quality than the flare mini. One huge bonus it has over the boost or motion+ is the 360 sound. It plays music the same no matter where you are relative to the speaker. In Essence, the flare+ is a huge step up from the flare mini, but still gives you that surround sound.

The boost is basically a step down from the motion± which is why I don’t recommend it for you. It will have lower quality sound, and doesn’t have aptX. I don’t see any scenario where you would use the boost over the motion+.

I definitely think you would enjoy adding the flare+ to your collection of speakers. Let us know what you end up doing!

Motion+ has the best sound. If you want another speaker, go Flare+, not Boost.

I’d say the Flare+ just so you can connect both of them tog

You can’t natively connect a flare+ with a flare mini. Only like with like

Not sure about the Flare+ with the flare mini but I know you can definitely pair the flare+ and the regular flare
So a flare+ / flare mini combo might be possible…

Are you sure about that? I was under the impression the only way that you can pair two different speakers is with dual audio from your phones BT…

I would without a doubt go for the flare+ and I will give you a few key reasons. You get better battery life, it is more rugged, is actually waterproof (to one meter depth for 30 minutes), has a carrying handle, has a pretty awesome light show, has better sound dispersion, has better sound quality and it looks much more refined. All in all, the boost really doesn’t stand a chance in my opinion, it is a good speaker on it’s own, but the flare+ is in a totally different league.

Anker may be making their system more compatible from one speaker to another.

Positive… … . … … .

Don’t forget to direct reply

Really? I thought you had to have another flare+
Edit: nevermind, not seems like you can’t

Wasn’t a mistake, and direct reply only works half of the time😉

Thanks mate!

Very sound (no pun intended!) advice.

I’ll let you know what I do. I think I’ll keep an eye out for when there’s a good deal on the Flare+
