Device- soundcore 2
Problem- In the 2nd step of firmware upgrade process it says 'The firmware selected is incompatible with your device".
However the device is indeed soundcore 2 and the firmware is for soundcore 2.
What seems to be the problem here?
And is there any solution?

Redownload the firmware and try a different computer. Sometimes when you download a file it has a few errors but I think the problem is more likely to be the computer you are using.
I’m just spitballing here but I believe there have been two firmware updates for the SC2 it could be the new firmware won’t stick because you skipped an update you might have to install V2 before you can install V3…
To be honest I did not see or hear a difference with updates and @AnkerOfficial rarely includes a firmware changelog. I would not worry about updating unless you are experiencing problems.

I tried re-downloading the firmware several time from different browsers but it didn’t work.
As for the 2nd suggestion, currently I’ve access to only 1 computer so I couldn’t try that one.
And as for the 3rd suggestion, I think this might work given that I’ve recently bought the item and trying to update the firmware for the 1st time. However I couldn’t find the previous version of the firmware.
And yes, I’m facing some syncing and hoping the update might fix that.
If you are hoping to correct the audio delay that is not possible. There will always be a small delay. The best way to minimize delay is to use an auxiliary cable but that kind of defeats the purpose of a Bluetooth speaker.
The other way to fix audio delay when not using an aux cable (only possible when watching downloaded videos) is to use the audio shift feature in “VLC player” settings.
i upgraded my soundcore select to last soundcore 2 firmware by mistake . its not work corectly (NFC) .can i have soundcore select firmware?
Same problem here, but also with the aux cable I have delay, even more, and a strange background noise…
