ME! Post an incorrect link!
You must be confusing me with someone else @professor

This is the model @professor alludes to.
A great PowerCore that we both know from personal experience.

Need to be quick with some of these deals dont you @professor
Although, as we’ve said before, patience is a virtue. It’ll only be a mater of time before it comes round again…hopefully…

Edit thread as owner when ended to stop the post-fact comments?

I don’t do it as often as I should myself but if someone replies when post fact I try to remember to.

It is something i need to try and remember, which is easier said than done @professor
Does the delete option work?
I could try, but had a feeling a user couldn’t delete a post?
Ill try it…

Nope, needs to be flagged.
Shame, as deleting is quicker than editing.

No you can’t delete once someone replies, you can though edit the thread for a while, likely sufficiently long enough time to be within typical deal window.

You can also ask moderator to close but that’s an effort on them.

As an aside, we do have a couple of bad characters who have new and old account and Reply to old threads related to what they intend to edit later with inappropriate links. While we delete their post and then ban them for frequent offence, having open old threads is a kind of weakness.

So I propose the thread owner is given the ability close a thread. I’m going to propose that ina separate thread.

It would make sense for users to be able to delete.
Or maybe a set period after which the thread becomes read only?

You reminded me there is a time ended capability, let me see on one of mine…
