Eufycam 2 doesnt detect

Hi guys,

Just received my Eufycam 2 package and after charging i went to install them. Did some motion testing and it seemed ok on Max (7). However this morning my daughter went to walk the dog and it didnt catch any motion either leaving or coming back. Why is that? She exit the door in the lower right and Left the driveway by the marking.

Any ideas? If it doesnt catch that On highest setting it will miss a lot of activity.

Btw its configured for “all motions” and not “Human only”

Edit: just drove my Big Old stationwagon out of the garage in front of the Camera and it didnt see that either.

Edit2: just Updated the iPhone app from 1.7.4 to 1.7.5 not sure if it will help, but didnt notice until now.

I have the exact same issue. Reboot the camera by pressing the button 5 times quickly to turn it off. Then once to turn it back on.

If that doesn’t work, unpair and re-pair it. Sadly this is what I had to do. They seem to randomly stop working. I wish I knew of a better fix.

Hi Clete,

Tried the shut down with 5 clicks (didnt know that one, thanks!). And basically did a restart on the Camera. It has been catching significantly more after i did that, so wanted to say thanks for the help. Still seems theres a small delay of 2-4 seconds before it starts recording but i assume that is normal. But i cant leave the garage with the car anymore without it noticing. So it helped a lot.
