Eufy2c - Reflective Circles

Hi,

Hooked up my eufy2c cameras a couple of days ago and is super excited to have it up and running.

One thing that is bothering me though, is on the night vision, I am seeing reflective circles on the feed. I have some street lights in the front so I thought it was the reflection of the street light on the camera lens.

The problem is I am having the same problem with the the rear camera also and there are no lights at the back.

Is anyone else having this issue or ever had this issue, and if so, how did you solve it?

Are the lenses super clean?
I don’t think this is a light issue so it’s not lend flare, I’d got with dirt on the outside or inside of the lens. That would also account for why it’s more obvious when dark.

As an experiment you could swap the cameras to see if the light pattern moves with the camera. This will tell you if it’s light or dirt causing you problem.

Looks like lens flare from the IR bouncing off the mounting wall…have you tried to adjust the angle?

Thank you both!

I am thinking, as you mentioned it, that maybe the lens might need cleaning. Could have been smudged when I was installing it.

I’ll try cleaning them and see what happens.

So I cleaned the cameras and lo and behold, that was causing the issue.

All good here now!
