I have a T8200 video doorbell (firmware V2.317) connected to my 2Ghz wifi network. My iPhone is also connected to the 2Ghz network. I’ve been having issues connecting the app to the doorbell to view alerts. When I checked the IP address on the doorbell, I found it configured with the IP address of the Internet Port on my cable modem and not with an ip address in my LAN. Is this normal? If not, how do I change the IP address on the doorbell? I’ve reset the doorbell, disconnected the doorbell and reinstalled with the same results.

The doorbell is a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi client device. It follows the wireless channel selected by the wireless router. As long as the wireless router follows FCC regulation, which 2.4GHz Wi-Fi channels are CH1-CH11, the doobrell should be able to work with it.
Please feel free to contact support@eufylife.com if you have any other questions. Thanks!
How you accessing it? It’s public IP will be your WAN address…
I kind of have the same issue, I think. My T8200, version = 2.317 2020-04-03 14:58:34, has an IP address from who knows where: 162.233.81.xxx, my LAN IP is 10.10.2.x, and my router IP is 104.13.1xx.xxx. I have NO CLUE where this 162.233.81.xxx is coming from.
Is there a way to set the IP address instead of having the doorbell use DHCP? How can I be sure the doorbell is secure on my network when I don’t recognize the IP address of the unit?
