Eufy video doorbell (1080p) repeating audio

When doing a two-way audio chat the doorbell plays back what the person at the doorbell has said, as well as what I have said to them.

Just in case that’s a hard sentence to get your head around, here’s what I mean…

  1. Doorbell rings.
  2. I initiate an audio conversation and say “Hello”.
  3. The person at the doorbell hears me say “Hello” through the speaker.
  4. They reply “Hi, I’ve got a package for you”.
  5. After a 1 second delay, through the doorbell speaker they hear what they’ve just said… “Hi, I’ve got a package for you”.

Basically it’s like when you’re on a mobile phone call and you can hear yourself after a short delay.

I’ve looked in the settings but can’t see anything to stop this from happening.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks. And yep, only found the other forum via the app after I created this thread. Plus this one took quite a while to approve and appear.
