How does Eufy calculate the basal metabolic rate (BMR)? The description provided doesn’t help me to understand the actual calculation, and the BMR calculated seems way higher (about 500 calories extra) than other calculators I’ve used online.

I’m not sure on the technicalities but think its more a maths exercise on behalf of the scales. Its difficult to achieve a proper measurement as specific criteria needs to be met.
I have the C1 model and it seems to be reasonably accurate compared to sports and weight trackers I use. But to be fair i use trackers more than my scales so base my bodies daily calories consumption using those.
On average my scales measure about 200cals less than the trackers.
But duration of exercise on a given day obviously makes a difference.
