Eufy Security Webpage

So I randomly happened across the following webpage
https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/#/camera
and was able to log in with my Eufy Account.
It displays my 2 Floodlight Camera’s, my Doorbell and my EufyCamE camera’s
but it does not display the 2 EufyCam 2 Camera’s I have.
The number of displayed camera’s is 5.
Also
The Driveway Floodlight camera does not have a play button to show a live feed.

I am just curious about this webpage as at one point I was told this was not available and there was only the app.

Is this something that is being tested?

This website has been around for a long time, I can also log in there, but my 5 Eufycam 2C are not displayed on the “Cameras” homepage: “No devices. Please add devices in the EufySecurity app”. But under “My Devices” all cameras are listed.

I don’t believe the 2C devices are supported via the webpage at present.

I was told by Eufy chat support that they are closing down the web access and you’ll soon only be able to access by phone app.

Hmmm, the Eufy support announced to me a few days ago that cloud storage will be available for the 2C at end of this month… i think for that function you will need the webpage… theres an option for cloud storage subscription but i can`t add may 2C cams at the moment. And on Amazon in the product description they listed an optional cloud storage. ???

I was told 2/2C support would be added to the webpage in Jan 2020 via email today.

The website now shows my 2C cams, livestream is also available.

I’m rather surprised that they are relying on a highly vulnerable technology like Flash to enable the cameras. I’m glad that it works now, but at what cost. It’s also surprising considering their online chat told me they were discontinuing the website.

I thought that Eufy Anker would like to be a modern company. Using old style and risky Flash is not a good example. Or better using Flash makes the web version become useless because noone will install Flash and risk an attack only for using Eufy Web Cam Software.

When will there be a useful update of the Eufy Security Webpage without flash? (HTML5 is here since 2014!)
