Hi, so I got my Eufy Robovac 11+ a while back now and one of the side brushes have been acting up. occasionally not spinning. Sometimes it spins again but when I tried it today, it won’t spin at all. It’s like there is no power on that side of the spinning motor thing. Any idea what kind of problems I am looking at… Honestly feel this is a very bad piece of machinery. I’m surprised it was one of the top sellers back when I purchased it. The lithium battery is irreplaceable and is pretty much junk after the warranty period.
Eufy robovac 11+ Side brush not spinning
No, just open the battery case, and replace the battery if there is really a need!
Regarding your “side brush problem”:
Have you really cleaned all properly.
I run my Robot since nearly 2 years. No issues at all.
BUT : Always have being cleaned and checked of course.
I have a slightly different model and no issues to date so far (about 6 month old) so sorry can’t help but hopefully someone here can. As @Chiquinho says make sure you regularly service it and it should run fine.
If you have issues and your within your warranty why not reach out and message support?
I wish it was within warranty, unfortunately their support does not help beyond the 1 year. For the 11+ model specifically, they repeatedly stated there is no replacement battery for it (wish I had known that before purchasing). Now it’s got more problems than the dying battery
Haha yeah, for other models besides the “11+”, there is the $30-40 replacement battery. Unfortunately, the model I have does not (as I was told by their support staff).
Haven’t known this sorry,
It is possible to get your hands on this battery, by opening the robot?
If so, you try to “create” a replacement by yourself.
There are always normal batteries installed, which can be bought.
Sorry but have you taken this apart yet? Until you have done so do not tell others that its impossible to-Do so. Open it up and remove the battery, on it you will find a part number and all you have to do is look it up online to ge the right one.
Have tried to open it up, but wasn’t successful in doing so despite unscrewing everything. I will give that a try again and see if the battery has any model number like you told me. I believe other models are much more simple, given that you’d only have to unscrew a small compartment where the battery sits. This model, the battery is hidden within the interior, so the entire thing has to be opened up. Thank you for the response.
There are videos how to dismantle such a robot.
Take a look at YT.
May be you can publish a photo of the bottom of that 11±
Would be interesting if there is really a big difference between 11, 11S and 11+
