Eufy RoboVac 11 - is there *any* way to keep it from going over a rug?

We have a Eufy that cleans our hardwood floor and we bought a new rug for it. Unfortunately, the Eufy now gets stuck on the rug on each and every cycle.

It seems the RoboVac 11 has no technology to prevent this whatsoever - magnetic strips and other barriers won’t work. Aside from trying to place pool noodles or something around the rug every time I want to use it - has anyone found any solution to keep the Eufy from going over an object?

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

@tomjonesrocks, sorry to know your Robovac can’t work fine on your carpet. Kindly advised it is not recommended to use RoboVac 11 on thick (total thickness over 26 mm /1.02 in) or plush carpets. Could you please confirm the thickness of your carpet?

Also, our Robovac 11 can’t work with the boundary strip function. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will make it better in the future. Please contact us via "support@eufylife.com" so we can assist you further, and we will glad to help you exchange or return it once we confirmed the issue.

We appreciate your time and looking forward to your reply!

To add to what @AnkerSupport said, perhaps you could return the unit with eufy’s support team, and then put that money toward RoboVac 30, which is compatible with boundary strips.

No way.

If the rug is not more than 2,5 cm high, it works fine as the robot will step on the carpet.

Be careful with the fringes of any carpet.
The robot “likes” those and is getting entangled very easy.

Of course you need NOT to cut those fringes off! :fearful:
I taped these under the carpet and all works fine!
